Empowering Youth

Our History

Over the course of the last 11 years Careerlinx Empowerment Solutions has worked hard to offer relevant and impactful education for South African youth, and we have evolved with the needs that have become evident.

In 2012 We started out with the main objective to alleviate poverty in socially challenged communities and to support entry level unemployed young adults in connecting them with skills and employment opportunities in order to get them into the formal economy.

In the intervening 6 years we incorporated work readiness training and developed curricula for the our work readiness learnership material which was ETDP seta accredited. Our AET English Literacy & Numeracy grew from strength to strength and now includes oral and bridging courses and the development of a levels 1, 2 and 3 of our English literacy training material.

In 2021 we added digital skills training, as well as practical skills training into our learnership program, in partnerships with Embo Crafts, where our learners can learn marketable skills like woodwork, welding or sewing.

In 2022 we introduced our career pathway and education program and our W.I.L.L (Work Integrated Learning Lab) program which equips youth for the world of work and how to access opportunities.
